. Fragmentum Hist. Monasterii-novi Pictav. apud Marten. tom. 3. Anecdot. col. 1217 : In refectorio perpetuo Justitia cum Appendiciis suis pro eo exhibetur ; scilicet pro Gaufrido Comite prædicti Monasterii fundatore defuncto. Quo in loco per Appendicia intelligo obsonium ; hinc dictum Appendicia Justitiæ, quod Justitiæ, id est, portioni vini Monachorum addi soleret ad integram pauperis, cui hæc eleemosyna dabatur, refectionem.
