, Supplicii genus in blasphemos, f. quo lingua ex ore protracta in contumeliam et irrisionem continebatur. Stat. Mantuæ lib. 1. cap. 42. ex Cod. reg. 4620 : Ordinamus quod si quis de cætero Deum et B. V. M. blasphemaverit, vel maledixerit, seu turpiter de ipsis locutus fuerit, puniatur pœna decem librarum parvorum : et nihilominus lingua ejus ponatur in Giova, et sic per unam diem stet super berlinam.
